Gunn and Moore is proud to announce that England and Hampshire batsman James Vince has signed a new long term equipment contract with the company.

It has been a tough schedule for James during the English winter, having spent the majority of time away from home. After winning the Man-of-the-Series award for the three match T20 series against Pakistan in the UAE at the end of November, James stayed out in Dubai during December and January captaining the England Lions against the Pakistan 'A' side and a UAE XI.

He then represented the Karachi Kings in the inaugural Pakistan Super League before a short stay in South Africa linking up with the England T20 squad. After a brief return home, James then headed to India as part of the England T20 World Cup squad that fell agonisingly short in that remarkable final against the victorious West Indies.

Now back on home soil, James is looking forward to captaining Hampshire in all formats having formally taken over the reigns in red ball cricket this year. James said, "I'm pleased to be able continue my association with GM and I look forward to using the best bats in the business as I move into the next chapter of my career, both on the domestic front whilst hopefully realising further international ambitions too."

Gunn & Moore Product Manager Tom Coffey said, "We're delighted to extend our relationship with James as his career and profile continues to develop.

Having only recently turned 25, James has his best years ahead of him as a batsman and a captain and I'm sure he'll gain greater international exposure in the non-too-distant future."

James will be using the new GM Paragon F4.5 DXM bat in 2016.
